Amanda Brugel

She was given the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to go to York University's Theatre Program and graduated from the program in 2000, earning a degree of Bachelor's in Fine Arts. Through the years that followed, Brugel has been offered roles in more than 60 productions on small and big screens. She attracted the most media attention after she was offered the part in the role of Rita in the award-winning show The Handmaid's Tale (pictured below). Brugel played the role of Rita in the Handmaid's Tale which was produced over the course of ten years.
